THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL, BUT THE LABORERS ARE FEW

While we have seen an uptick in the number of foreign workers in our country within the last few years there is still a need for more laborers. There are many things about entering and staying in this country that are difficult: obtaining visas and residency, establishing viable and legitimate business platforms, etc. With many minority groups still unreached, the need for laborers is great. May He continue to raise up more laborers to come and work in this country.

PRAISE

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Mt 9:37–38)

Father, You are all knowing, all powerful, and full of all wisdom. You have brought laborers to this place and we trust and have confidence that You will bring more in Your perfect time.

CONFESSION

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy and where theives break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where theives do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”  Matthew 6:19-21

Father, we know that we can become distracted by things of this world. We confess to you that we forget about the great work you have called us to amongst the nations.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me.’”

Lord, we thank you that just as Isaiah said, “Here I am! Send me,” others have been sent out as well.  You have brought multiple families to North Africa in the last year. 

REQUEST

“And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Rom 10:14)

Father, please raise up more laborers who are willing to bring Your truth to a place where You are not known.
