GETTING THE WORD OUT: BIBLE APP

Recently a bible app was released giving access to the Word in the local dialect of the national language. This will undoubtedly make it easier to get the Word into the hands of North Africans in a language they can understand!

PRAISE

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

Father, we praise You that You have given us access to Your very words and that you are making it possible for another language group to have access to it as well.

CONFESSION

“But he answered, ‘It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)

God, we confess to you that worldly wisdom creeps in so quickly.  We forget that we are to live on every Word that you have given to us.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Lord, thank you that you provide us with all we need to live a life that can bring you glory.  Thank you that you are working through faithful laborers to bring your word to those in this country, in their language.

REQUEST

“Your Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Father, we ask that you would use the newly released Bible app to reach the people of this land.  We pray that they would read your Word and that they would align their hearts and lives to You and your glorious truth!
