WOMEN OF NORTH AFRICA
The lifestyle of a woman in this country greatly depends on the male figure in her life (ex: her father, brother, or husband). Women are viewed as people that must be protected; sometimes control becomes a form of protection. Many women spend their days in the home and because of this can often be difficult to connect with.
PRAISE
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27
God we praise you that you saw fit to create man and women in Your image. You are the Great Creator!
CONFESSION
Do not let your adorning be external-the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear-but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:3-4
Father, we confess that we (men and women) do not always think in this way. We often desire for our external attributes, whether physical or external works, be praised.
THANKS
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25
God, thank you that you have not left out one detail pertaining to your creation. You have created men and women in such a way that there is protection, love, and care for the woman from her husband. Thank you for your perfect design in your creation.
REQUEST
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12
Lord, please provide opportunities for the women of North Africa to be reached. We ask that they would know how valuable they are to You and that You desire to welcome them into your family as Your daughters. May their eyes and hearts be opened to the Truth.
