Thanks so much for signing up to pray for North Africa. These requests will be focused on a country where most of the population has never heard the gospel, met a believer, or lives near a church. Most of the people groups have few to no believers, and lack a translation of Scripture. The workers are few, but the harvest is plentiful.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'” (Rev 7:9-10) All glory belongs to you, Lord! You are the one and only Savior of all those who believe in you from every people group throughout the world.
“… I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers…” (Rom 9:2-3) Father, forgive us for how little we care for the unreached and the lost. May we, like the apostle Paul, increasingly pray for unreached groups like those in North Africa and proclaim the good news to them.
“For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations, and sing to your name.” (Psalm 18:49) Thank the Lord for how he has rescued you and some North African believers. May his praise go out to all the nations, including the vast majority of North Africans who have never heard the good news.
“And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” (Mark 4:8) Father, prepare the hearts of many North Africans so that their hearts will be fertile ground for your Word. Bear the fruit of faith and repentance for your glory.
