One key ministry throughout the region is follow-up. When people read Scripture on a website, or hear the good news on TV, or watch a video on social media, they can contact a network that will send someone to tell them the gospel. This is a crucial way to find interested people and to proclaim the gospel in places where there are few to no believers.
“… therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest…” (Matt 9:38)
Father, you are Lord of the harvest. We do the work you’ve given to us, but you are the one who sends, empowers and directs all aspects of your kingdom work.
“And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.” (Ezek 22:30)
Forgive us, Lord, for not standing in the gap for the sake of the lost and the unreached. You have commanded us to pray for them and to take the good news to them. May we do so eagerly, knowing outside of Christ there is no hope.
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Rom 10:15)
Thank you, Father, that you are sending gospel workers around the world. Thank you for the believers who are courageously doing follow-up work in North Africa and are proclaiming the good news to people who have never heard it before.
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” (Isa 6:8)
Please commission more believers to do follow-up work, Lord. Raise up churches to send them out and support them. Raise up follow-up workers for North Africa, especially North Africans from different cities and language groups. May networks connected to TV channels, websites and other media be integrated and coordinated so that many North Africans can hear the gospel and meet a believer.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
